Redknapp wants Birmingham job

Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp admits that he wants Birmingham Job if the owners back him up financially to sign the players of his interest.

“I’d be staying here, I couldn’t drive up here every day it would kill me,” Redknapp added. “I’ve spent the vast majority of the last three weeks up here and I’d have to do the same.”

“You don’t want to go through another year like this, it’s no good to anyone is it. Hopefully, we can strengthen the squad and I think they want to do it. They’re ambitious and I think they can do it, that’s all I’m asking for.”

Redknapp stressed that he would be interested and help the club promote to the English Premier League if they plan to break the bank.
