Australian International Tim Cahill says he is to leave Shanghai Shenhua in front of the new Chinese Super League season, as he is not some portion of new mentor Gregorio Manzano’s arrangements.

Cahill has been with Shenhua since leaving New York Red Bulls in February 2015 and concurred an augmentation to his starting one-year bargain in November – a month before Manzano’s arrangement as coach.

The 36-year-old scored 11 times in 28 class appearances for Shenhua while additionally helping the club to the last of the Chinese Cup amid his presentation battle.

Yet, Cahill’s chance at Shanghai shows up over, posting on Instagram: “I’m exceptionally sorry to learn that I have achieved a concurrence with Shanghai Shenhua to end my agreement.

“I have been informed that I’m not part of the new mentor Manzano’s arrangements for the 2016 season having just barely marked another contract in November.”
