Dele Alli and Eric Dier were talk of the town as England defeated France by 2-0 in International Friendly played at Wembley.

Alli scored in his first start for the senior team after he put a driving shot from outside the box past his club compatriot Hugo Lloris. Dier too started for England for the first time and he had a great game. Man of the Match Dele Alli’s rise to the top level needs some beating as he came from lower division last season to playing for England in top level match in no time.

But with a couple of London derby upcoming for his club side, both these players need to step up as per the expectations and bring the end result. Up next are West Ham, who have been beating top level oppositions in regular interval this season. Slaven Bilic’s man have beaten four teams from last season’s top six already this season and Spurs’ boys must be at their best to stave off the scare.

Alli and Dier are both close off the pitch as well. As for Alli’s recognition, Dier is like a big brother for him after the English defender helped Alli settle into his new club and they shared bench in age groups too. From Age groups to club and then to Senior side, Spurs fans have a lot of expectation from this pair.
