After playing out a 1-1 draw in the first leg, with Edin Dzeko and Robbie Brady getting goals for either teams. Ireland look to be the favorites with three first team players returning to training on Sunday. Shane Long and John O’Shea were both not involved in the first leg draw and are in line to be starting berth for the decider. John Walters, who was suspended for the first leg could start for the Irish team.

With a goalless draw enough to see the side through, ROI manager Martin O Niell has cleared that the team will not defend for a draw.

“The tie is finely balanced and we have to go for the win,” he said. “I think if you said at the start that we had to win our final game at the Aviva Stadium to qualify for France, we would have taken that. It would be a big boost for the country if we could qualify. That has to be the mindset because Bosnia are more than capable of scoring. If we went out with any other mindset, things might not work out for us. The crowd will get behind us and, if we can get the atmosphere we had against Germany, that would serve us greatly.”he ended.
