Roy Hodgson has announced the England squad for upcoming International Friendlies against France and Spain.
In a day where Eric Dier earned his first Senior Call to the England squad, many eyebrows were raised as Fabian Delph was named too. Delph, who played just nine minutes in City’s midweek clash after missing more than two months with injury has been named in the squad.
Dele Alli and Eric Dier were both part of U21 squad in recent times but Alli was called up in previous match and now, with the Spurs’ defensive midfield duo included, Ryan Mason’s place has been taken over. Mason has been injured and played for Spurs’ early in the season.
