Arsenal prepare for Bayern Munich challenge with Walcott injured

Arsenal are preparing for a visit to Allianz Arena with Theo Walcott joining the already long injury list for Arsene Wenger.

With just one win from three group matches, the only win coming against opposition Bayern Munich. The loss was first of the season for Bayern Munich and they followed it up with a goalless draw in the Bundesliga against Eintracht Frankfurt. However on the other side, Arsenal took their form and defeated Swansea 3-0 away from home, the team which they lost to in both occasions last term.

But the win came with a hefty blow as Theo Walcott and Alex Oxlade Chamberlain were both taken off early in Arsenal’s league cup defeat in the midweek. The loss to Sheffield Wednesday sparked a sign of crisis but the win in the weekend has eased the blow a bit. Wenger will need to win the match if they are to avoid staying at the bottom of the table in Champions League.
