Benitez’s Real Madrid need to fire goals if the League title is to come at the Bernabau

With Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale all not performing consistent, Madrid are having problems in attacking third.

Real are at the top of the league table with 21 points from 9 matches. Madrid are undefeated but have been held 3 times this season already. Madrid have scored 21 goals with Ronaldo top scoring with 7 goals, 5 of which came in a single match. Similarly Karim Benzema has managed six goals but has manages just one goal in last three appearances. Gareth Bale has just two goals and has just amassed 340 minutes on the pitch.

James Rodriguez had a very good start for the Madrid team but he caught injury and the goals have not come in regular interval since then. In the last five matches played in la Liga, 2 fixtures have been draw while one of the match was a goalless draw at home against Malaga.

With Real Chasing the title and Barcelona level on points with Madrid, a slip might be costly for the team. Bale has returned back from injury and Benitez needs to tighten the grip on goals if they are to land the league title.
