Karabakh come to Scotland to play their UEFA Champions League Qualifiers match against Scottish club Celtic.

The teams are playing their first ever competitive match and will be aiming to mark it off in a better note. Both these sides came off to this round with a win in their previous qualifier matches. Along with the qualifiers, the teams have been active in pre-season friendlies too.
Celtic beat Stjarnan by 6-1 in two legged tie to book their place in further round of the qualifiers. The first leg at Ibrox ended 2-0 to Home team while Celtic won the return leg by 4-1 scoreline. Celtic also played in three other friendlies apart from those matches in this month. Celtic lost first to D. Praha by 5-2 but won the remaining two matches by beating Eibar by 4-1 and Rennes by 2-0.
Karabakh beat R. Pljevlja by 1-0 in two legged encounter to go through to next round. The first leg ended on a goal-less draw and Karabakh scored the only away goal in second leg to go through.
