Paul Pogba’s involvement is not sure but it is likely that the midfielder will not be risked in this game with an eye on upcoming set of fixtures. With Andrea Pirlo, Claudio Marchisio and Arturo Vidal all fit to play, it is unlikely Pogba will be rushed into the pitch just yet. Martin Caceres and Kwadwo Asamoah are both injured so Patrice Evra and Stephan Lichtsteiner are the obvious choice in the wing back positions.
Madrid will be without services of two key players in the for of Karim Benzema and Luka Modric. But with lots of world class players in the squad, Ancelotti will not find it hard to put in cover. Javier Hernandez has been in great form since Benzema picked injury and in case the tactics fails, likes of Ronaldo, Bale or Rodriguez can operate as a center forward.
