Henry cried when he left Arsenal

Formal Arsenal captain and ace striker Theiry Henry revealed he cried when he had to leave Arsenal in order to join Barcelona. 

Henry was not happy to leave Arsenal

Henry left Arsenal on 2007 to partner with Samuel Eto’o in the huge sum of 21.3 millions. Henry was 29 when he joined Catalans managed by Pep Guardiola.

Talking with BeIN sports former French international said.” I never considered leaving Arsenal, It was not easy and when I left I cried. I’m not ashamed to say it. I’m a competitor and I had to leave.”

Henry was not sure about Arsene staying in the club. He said.” I was 29 years old and in form, I thought all the guys left and I did not know if Arsene would be staying.”

Henry added.” I accepted the challenge and I fought, and competition makes you increase your level. People talk about luck, but you need to create your own. When you work, you get the reward at the end.”
