Daniel Sturridge has not played for Liverpool since August due to series of recurrence of injuries. Although Liverpool have found winning ways without their front-men duo Daniel Sturridge and Mario Balotelli, both suffer injury, Brendan Rodgers’ is keen to get the service of 25 years old English front who has not featured since picking up a thigh injury in late August.

Recurring muscle injury has been a major setback for 25 years old English man who scored 25 league goals last season for Liverpool

The 25 years old English man Daniel Sturridge first picked up an injury at August during international training camp and England training session was earlier blamed for his injury, however further, the situation got worse after he was subject of further four weeks sideline of a claf injury in October.

The Saga was not over when the news broke out that the English Striker was subject to miss further more just before his return as he picked a hamstring injury in mid November which could keep him month or long out of Football. Sturridge who has only featured in three of Liverpool’s 14 league matches this term will not return anywhere ahead of January.

Mario Balotelli Injury Return Date

Alongside Daniel Sturridge, Mario Balotelli has missed couple of Liverpool matches due to a hamstring injury which he picked up during training with Italy national team. Balotelli who was sent ahead of the international match back to Liverpool due to hamstring injury. The 24 years old has missed Euro Cup qualifiers against Croatia, friendly against Albania and has not featured in three league matches of which Liverpool won two(against Stoke City home and Leicester City away). However despite of Rickie Lambert’s early lead against Crystal Palace, Liverpool faced a 3-1 defeat.

Mario Balotelli could return for Liverpool’s clash against Basel as the reds look for a victory for their qualification for further round in the champions league. However certain controversies and culprit of going against Brendan’s role, Balotelli may wait bit longer to mark his return from injury.
