Laxmi Hyundi Manang Marsyangdi club register their first victory in the group stage of the tournament after a 2-1 defeat to I-League outfits in their first match of the tournament as MMC reverse the results against Assam Electricity registering a 2-1 victory for the defending champions.

Dodoz and Shiva Shrestha scored a goal each for the Nepalese league champions while Deepak Rai’s equalizer remained consolation for the loosing side.

Dodoz picked up the back of the net scoring in the 34th minute of the game, however Deepak Rai replied three minutes later equaling for Assam based club, however Shiva Shrestha reacted quick to score almost from the half line a minute later which remained the decisive goal of the game as Sujal failed to convert the penalty in the second half for MMC.
