Manakamana Cable Car Pokhara Cup from 28 Poush

The forth edition of Pokhara cup, earlier known as Safal Pokhara cup is scheduled to kick off from 28th poush hand the final of the match will be played on 10 Magh with new sponsors, Manakamana Darshan Pvt Ltd.

First Manakamana Cable Car Pokhara cup which will be the forth edition of the Pokhara Cup will be played from 28 poush to 10th Magh at Pokhara Stadium with 12 participants. Eight A division clubs, three foreign and hosts Pokhara XI will compete in the tournament earlier won by Manang Marsyangdi club.

The Participants are Manang Marsyangdi Club, Three Star Club, NIBL Friends club, NMB Bank Machhindra FC, Yeti Himalayan Sherpa Club, Nepal APF Club, Nepal Army Club , Nepal Police Club, Sheikh Jamal DhunMundi Club, Yeti FC Australia, Hongkong Nepalese Football Association and Pokhara XI. The twelve teams will compete for Nrs 3,55,000 cash prize while the best coach, best defender, best midfielder, best striker and the best coach of the tournament will bag Nrs 15,000 each.

The tournament organized by Kaski District Football Association has been supported by Nepal Sports Council, All Nepal Football Association and the Western  Region Football development committee and will be promoted by Nepal Tourism Board.

The total expected budget of the tournament is 62 Million and the organizers expects to make a profit worth 1.2 million Nepalese Rupees.
