‘ Because I Am A Girl ‘ Football Tournament To Kick off from Saturday

U17 Girls Football tournament ‘Because I am a Girl’ is scheduled to kick off from 11th October, Saturday at Rautahat.

All Nepal Football Association, in association with Plan International is organizing BIAAG U17 girls football tournament where twelve teams will show its participation.

Each team is pitted in a group of three teams before the winner of each group will face in the semifinals of the tournament.

Rautahat, Morang, Banke are in group A, Makawanpur, Taplejung, Kanchanpur are in B, Sarlahi, Jhapa and Kailali are in C while Kathmandu, Bara and Nawalparasi district are in group D.

The final of the 70 minutes match will be played on second Kartik and the winning team will bag Nepalese Rupees One hundred Thousand.The best keeper, defender, midfielder, striker and the coach will bag Nrs.5000 each.

The expected expenditure of the tournament is 2.4 Million, while more than half, i.e 1.5 Million rupees has been assisted by Plan International.
