“I am happy that my boys played well in the championship. We were out against the best teams in Asia and the boys gave their best,” Stefanowski said to the ANFA official website.

Despite of conceding 13 goals in three matches, Stefanowski believed that Nepal had tough matches with two world cup participants, however the experience would help for the team that has been concentrating in the South Asian Football Federation Championship.

Nepal lost 4-0 to Iraq, 5-0 to Kuwait and 4-0 to Japan in the group stage of the Asian Games.
