Bayern are dealing with lots of injuries at the moment and they have youngsters in the bench to replace those as well. Rafinha, Franck RIbery, Bastian Schweinsteiger, Javi Martinez and Thiago Alacantra are all out for long term. Holger Badstuber also joined the injury list as Mitchell Weiser continues his rehab from injury. Arjen Robben is available but he might start from bench along with new signing Medhi Benatia.
Manchester City will be without Pablo Zabaleta as he got sent of in last European Fixture with the club. Fernando and Stefan Jovetic will both miss out of the match due to injuries while Bacary Sagna awaits his European debut with his new club.
