Nepal face another humiliating defeat in Incheon Asian game as they go 5-0 down to Kuwait, conceding four in the later half of the game.

 

Captain Alsanea scored three times to complete his hat trick while Alhamadan and Faisal scored a goal each in Kuwait’s huge victory.

Nepal that started their campaign with a 4-0 defeat to Iraq were in an aim to bounce back, however the result turned over Nepal to face a humiliating exit from the group stage early before facing Japan in the final match of the group.

Kuwait got ahead in 19th minute of the game through a corner when goalkeeper Alan Neupane failed to get a good punch on the ball, Alhamadan got the ball easy just to tap in for Kuwait lead.

Nepal’s only attack in the first half came in 25th minute when Bharat Khawas tested the opponent goalkeeper with a poor left footed shot which went straight to the opponent goalkeeper that made no mistake.

The second half turned out to be rout as Nepal conceded four goals in the later half. The first goal in the second half came in 66th minute when captain Alsanea scored first of his three goals with a beautiful left footed shot that led Alan no chance to save the ball. Alsanea found his second through a spot kick when Sandip Rai brought down opponent player in the box to concede a penalty. Alsanea delivered a fine spot kick finding his second and third goal for the team.

Substitute Faisal made the score line look 4-0 through a clean finish before captain Alsanea completed his hat trick in 86th minute to make the score line 5-0. Nepal will now face Japan on September 21, on Sunday.
