Arsenal are desparately trying to sign a striker and their search mind end up with the signature of English forward Danny Welbeck. Welbeck, who has been preferred in a wing role in recent years has found himself third in the pecking order and with the incoming of Radamel Falcao, he could be pushed further below.

Danny went out on loan to Sunderland few years ago and made his mark in Premier League. Since then, he has been in and out of the Manchester United team. He has played in the left wing as well as Central Striker under Alex Ferguson and David Moyes. Welbeck was also in the squad of ENgland team in the World Cup and in current squad for Norway friendly.

Arsenal lost their striker Olivier Giroud due to injury and the frenchmen could be out until next year due to surgery. Yaya Sanogo is the only fit striker in the team and Wenger wants some class players up top. Arsenal signed four players in this window and they are yet to finish the business.
