Manchester United Transfer News: Louis Van Gaal interested in Hummels, Blind and De Vrij

Newly appointed Manchester United Manager Louis Van Gaal is expected to make a big change in transfer window as he ponders new reinforcements.

Mats Hummels is expected to join Manchester United.

After departure of old guards from the club, Louis Van Gaal needs a lot of reinforcemnt at the defensive third in comparison to the other. Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand and Patrice Evra have all left the club and only Luke Shaw has signed for the club in defensive unit.

As per the rumors suggests, Mats Hummels is strongly linked with a move to Old Trafford after his heroic showing in the World Cup 2014, which Germany won and he was included in the team of the tournament. Hummels is said to be not interested in the move but if his club agrees a deal with Manchester United, he might make a next step in his career.

Another name being heard is Stefan Di Vrij of Feyenoord. De Vrij had an excellent World Cup campaign with then Holland manager Louis Van Gaal and he is excited to join the manager in Manchester now. Manchester united are yet to make enquiries and Feyenoord will bot hold back if right price is offered for the Dutch center back.

There are also news on Daley Blind move, but the left back who can play in either of defensive midfield and center back is said to be having talks with FC Barcelona. If that is to be true, United will have to work hard for his signature as he offers different dimension in the team and Louis Van Gaal knows him well.
