The first draw of the tournament was Brazil vs Mexico game as Mexico goalkeeperĀ Guillermo Ochoa rescued his side in different occasions.
Brazil made only a minor change in their starting lineup as injured Hulk was replaced by Chelsea man Ramires. Brazil dominated the later half asĀ Luiz Felipe Scolari made few changes in the second half with Bernard replacing Ramires that changed the tactics of the host side.
Mexico remained brave through the game and they were active in counter attacks. Their main tactic in the second half remained shots from long range, however they failed to reach the target.
Man of The Match
Mexico goalkeeperĀ Guillermo Ochoa was awarded man of the match for his superb saves through the game. The first half save from the goal line saved Mexico to concede a goal in the early half of the game. Meanwhile he denied David Luiz, Neymar and captain Silva in four different occasions in second half to confirm a point for his team.
