After couple of draws, Tribhuwan Army face a defeat in the Red Bull Martyr’s Memorial League as they continue to loose points.
Although it was Tirbhuwan Army that went in attack from the start, they failed to create any impressive threat to their opponent with the first eye catching attack coming from RCT’s Suman Lama who connected very well in a Bicycle kick was denied by a great save from Army keeper Ganga Ram.
RCT had the first say in 64th minute when Dona Thapa made a powerful attempt from 10 yards in Shekher Limbu’s pass, his shot found the right side of the net to give RCT the lead.
Subim Lama doubled the lead making 2-0 in 75th minute, Shekher Limbu with the second assist in the game.
Army could halve the deficit four minutes later the second goal as Jitendra Kark could convert the penalty which they were awarded as Anil Patel was found culprit to handle the ball in his own box. The goal remained the only one from Army as they were forced to loose more points.
