MMC 2-0 Sankata – MMC Continue Their Title Run

Laxmi Hyundai MMC hold the top position in the league as they defeat CMG Club Sankata 2-0, both goals coming in the second half of the game.

Manang Marsyangdi brought Deepak Rai and Yona Elias up front in the starting line up with Anil Gurung not fully fit while CMG Club Sankata could clearly feel Afeez up in the front line as the suspension of the Ivorian man could make the Sankata forward dull.

MMC controlled the possession in the first half of the game; however they lacked to break down the firm Sankata defense, while in the other hand Sankata could also not make any notable move in the first half ending the initial period 0-0.

Laxmi Hyundai Manang Marsyangdi could get two goals in the later half as Yona Elias and super sub Anil Gurung could score a piece.

Yona Elias could enjoy the peak of the form of the Nepal U19 man Sulav Maskey whose cross was well justified through a headed effort in 68^th minute which took MMC forward in the game.

The super substitute Anil Gurung could find a cracker onto the net when he utilized Shiva Shrestha’s ball from the edge of the box to double the lead for MMC.
