Nepal Army Club find a third draw in a row as they end up 1-1 with Nepal APF club.
Nepal Army’s title expectation has setback after third tie in a row which comes against Nepal APF club. They stand at the 10th position with 10 points, one below the super six spot.
Although it was Nepal Army that had the first say in the game, they could not hold onto the lead. Padam Tamang got the first goal in 15th minute of the game when his shot just from the line found the slightest of touch on opponent goalkeeper Amrit Chaudary before the ball struck the bar to enter the net.
Tanka Basnet got an opportunity to double the score but Amrti Chaudary won on a single clash with Tanka Basnet as Tanka’s shot in a 1 v 1 position was punched away by the APF keeper.
APF got back the equalizer in second half when Rajendra Rawal’s long ranger found the back of the net in 62nd minute.
Army dominated the last 10 minutes of the game but they were unable to get back the lead and were compelled to share points.
