MMC 1-1 TAC – MMC comeback for a Draw

Manang Marsynagdi club come back from an early terror as super sub Deepak Rai scores to steal a point from Army who got ahead in Mbile Stephen’s own goal.

Tribhuwan Army took the lead very early in the game when a cross from Bharat Khawas in 4^th minute was converted as an own goal as a result of misunderstanding between Stephen Mbile and Bishal Shrestha

Army could come near to another chance in the game when Bharat Khawas got a one v one position, however Bishal did well to advance forward and claim the ball.

MMC remained unlucky in 33^rd minute when Nabin Neupane’s shot in Yona Elias’s ball found the side pole to rebuff the first half equalizer.

MMC continued their attacking play and threatened Army in the 54^th minute when Anil Gurung’s shot was punched y Ful Bahadur, Anil Gurung’s second effort in rebound went away from the target.

MMC came near to two headed opportunities in 60^th minute in Nabin Neupane’s ball, however Yona and Anil missed out the target in two different occasions for the league leaders.

MMC were fortunate to find Rupesk KC in position to make a goal line save in 69^th minute. Bharat Khawas and Tanka Basnet did well to cope up and create a chance for Nawyug whose final shot was victim of a goal line save from Rupesh KC.

MMC got back in the 73^rd minute when their super substitute Deepak Rai notched an easy rebound to make it all squre. Rupesh KC’s cross was followed by Yona’s shot that was half cleared by the defender, Deepak was in good chance to place an easy ball in rebound to find the equalizer.

The equalizer remained the last goal of the game as MMC stopped Army to gain three points to keep their title run in a full swing.
