Nepal APF were able to play a controlled game over Boys Union as they register another victory, a win coming over lowly Boys Union Club.

As a result of back to back attacks, APF finally got a goal in 40th minute when Jangbo Sherpa scored a beautiful goal. His shot from  right side of the box found a finger tip on Raju Yogi, however the ball found the net.

APF could have doubled their lead five minutes later when Nabin Lama’s shot on target in the 43rd minute was punched away by Raju Yogi. The central forward Ranjan Bista found a rebound on his left foot but failed to connect the shot on time missing great chance for APF to double their lead.

Boys Union were lost on attack with the only shot coming in 45th minute when Aba made a long ranger which was directly in Amrit Chaudary’s hand. The result of lack of first half attack saw the newly promoted side trailing at the end of the first half.

Boys Union Club was unlucky in the first three minute of the second half when Akeem’s effort was denied by the post. The shot went pass the keeper but was denied by the near post.

Boys Union managed to get another shot on target when unmarked Binod Lama found a headed ball by Akeem but he missed another opportunity for BUC taking the final shot straight to opponent keeper Amrit Chaudary in the 60th minute.

The effort persisted for Boys Union with another one coming on a 25 yards free kick from Ashim Jung Karki in 66th minutethat did not miss by much. Ashim’s attempt to find the top corner went just inches over the target.

APF searched for the second goal with some desperate attacks, two notable coming from Ranjan Bista before Nabin Lama finally found the goal in 70th minute. Ranjan Bista’s long ranger was hardly saved by Raju Yogi for a corner on which Ranjan again made an effort on a volley which was ruled out for another corner. The second corner was followed by a back-heel from Ganesh Lawati that was returned from a goal line by Boys Union skipper Prem Ghimire which Nabin Lama scored on a volley from the box to double the lead.

With a defeat, Boys Union are at the bottom of the table as they are yet to get their first point in the league, losing all three starting matches.
