The young Nepalese Jewel, Bimal is now in Netherlands for a week trial with FC Twente. The opportunity would not have embraced on absence of some faces that helped in the process. Givemegoal.com would like to divulge the contribution of some mortal without whom FC Twente trail would not have been possible.

Rene Koster – The Bangladesh National Team Assistant coach took the charge of Bangladesh U16 team when they played in SAFF U16 championship in Kathmandu. Bangladesh got head-to-head with Nepal in the tournament semifinals where Nepal outplayed Bangladesh 5-1. Bangladesh coach Rene felt comfortable to praise Bimal and other Nepalese players and he quoted, “Bimal can compete in Europe”. Bimal ended up as top goal scorer in the tournament. Later , the Dutch coach composed an environment and travelled along with Bimal and Bangladesh U19 skipper to finally make the arrangement possible.

Richard Orlowski – The man who dealt with everything in Nepal. Richard Orlowski, Nepal Assistant coach remained as a mediator. He helped Bimal throughout the process to establish communication with Rene, his continuous touch with Rene made it possible. He was present from the very beginning of process to the end in Airport where he was there to give him a ‘goodbye’.

Media and Fans – When goalnepal.com first revealed about the news and givemegoal.com followed up, givemegoal.com broke out how highly unlikely the process was. The fans and media combinly built pressure to the concerned authorities which finally led to Bimal’s release from Sikkim Governer’s gold cup and continue his visa processing, here in Kathmandu.

ANFA – Might be confused how ANFA helped in the process. A naked eye sees ANFA bad character as not wanting to send Bimal, but the actual logic was different. As givemegoal.com understands, the offer was not directly made to ANFA, neither ANFA was contacted directly, ANFA with all the responsibility on the academy player could not let Bimal go at an instance. ANFA was co-operative to deal with the situation; they examined properly, ensured on Bimal’s securities and finally released him from the team which was on duty at Sikkim Government’s gold cup.

Gunjan Pratap Singh – The name might not be familiar, Gunjan is Bimal’s brother, not by blood but by courtesy. He was always there, either it be during accommodations from Airport to the academy or it be during the visas processing.  Gunjan was there with the officials, dealt with most of the documents and helped adding some inspiring consultations.

Now that Bimal is in Netherlands, and will train there, we hope he gains something that could later be implemented for the Nation.
