Laxmi Bank Three Star Club defeated  United Sikkim FC  in the quarter final match of  34th All India Governor’s Gold Cup, thanks to Bijay Dhimal and Asim Jung Karki who scored for the winning side.

Three star club started the game in dominating note as they remained superior in the field. Ashim Jung Karki added the lead in the 24th minute of the game scoring in the cross of  Biraj Maharjan.

Bijay Dhimal doubled the lead in the 55th minute of the game by utilizing the free kick of Santosh Shaukhala to make it two. Although Sikkim United showed improved game in second half, they were unable to score back as Three Star club ended 2-0 victory to enter the semis of the tournament.
