ANFA bade Farewell to Women’s team who departed today for a pair of friendly match against the Qatar Women’s team.

ANFA bid farewell to Nepal National Football team

ANFA President Ganesh Thapa  bade farewell to a Nepal Women’s team who left today for a friendly match against Qatar Women’s National Team. A total of 21 members including 1 coach, Manager  and  2 officials headed Kuwait today. ANFA president Ganesh Thapa said , ” You have to make the brothers living in Qatar happy and give win as Tihar Gift for them”. Those friendly matches will play important role in FIFA ranking .

Here is the list of officials and players leaving Nepal for the friendly match scheduled for October 24 and 27 :-

Anu Lama, Sajana Rana, Niru Thapa, Dipa Adhikari,  Usha Bhandari, Chandra Bhandari, Bhagwati Thapa, Krishna Khatri, Pramila Rai, Yashoda Lama, Laxmi Poudel, Rina Gubaju,  Nisha Bohara, Chandra Devi Dahal, Namita Dali, Lila Lamgade and Dhim Kumari Gurung

The women team hammered Kuwait 8-0 in their last friendly match plated at Kuwait and the host team pulled out second friendly match showing injury as the cause.
