Ganesh Thapa spoke in U-19’s departure and claimed he would not let Politics enter in Nepali Football.
“I would not let anyone unpunished if he does anything that harms Nepali Football” , the ANFA president claimed in front of very few reporters followed by Neal Sports Journalist forum’s protest.
“I am ready to bow down if benefits my players and Nepali Football but I would never allow Politics in Nepali Football” , he continued furiously.
“People forget 99% of good deeds and make an issue of remaining 1% mistake, those are never supporters but the ones who does not want to see Nepali Football developed. If there are any problems, people can contact me openly” , Ganesh Thapa spoke in front of lesser number of reporters.
“If a player is found guilty of not giving his best during 90 minutes and betrays the country, I will punish them” , Thapa added.
He also talked about the selection decision of the U-19 team and hoped there was not any relational partiality.
“Coaches did not inform about the selection, I hope there are not any kind of partiality” , Ganesh Thapa commented on the U19 team selection.
The U-19 team left for Qatar to participate in AFC U19 qualifiers to be played in Qatar.
