Boys Union Club defeats Jawalakhel 3-2 on an interesting match played at Dasarath Rangashala.

Jawalakhel were first to get the lead in 18th minute as Umesh Thapa scored utilizing Boys Union error as lack of coordination between goalkeeper Raju Yogi and captain Prem Thapa cost them the goal.

The equalizer was seen soon enough as 8 minutes later Ashiq Thapa Magar’s outstanding chip shot could make the teams equal.

Boys Union got ahead for the first time in the game as Ashim Jung Karki’s free kick was controlled by Binod Lama who guided the team to the lead.

Pradip Maharjan leveled the score as his powerful shot kissed inner side of the cross bar to find the net as the teams remained equal at the end of the first half.

Second half was as interesting as expected as either team pressed for the goal. Boys Union got the winner in 84th minute as Ashim Jung Karki remained the hero of the match as he utilized miscommunication between the poor defence line and the goalkeeper.

Jawalakhel dominated attack as they desperately wanted the equalizer but the final whistle went on newly promoted side who registered first competitive win of the season.
