Chelsea interim manager Rafa Benitez showed his happiness after guiding his team to the Europa league final. Chelsea secured their place in finals defeating FC Basel 5-2 in aggregate score.

The Spanish boss was appointed in November with a short term contact after Di Matteo removal.

Former Liverpool boss was not the fan favorite during his arrival but guiding the blues to the European final, he might have won some fans at Stamford Bridge.

With a chance to win the Europa league title, Chelsea now have chance to win two consecutive European titles.

“I came to do a professional job with the commitment of the players,” Benitez told ITV. “I am pleased for them and everyone here. “We have had a very good atmosphere, the players have always worked hard, they have always done their job. I was pleased with them before this game and I am pleased with them now.”

The speculation surrounds the Spaniard’s replacement with Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho.
