Gorkha group extends three more years with ANFA for knock out tournament as the agreement was signed in presence of ANFA president Ganesh Thapa and Mr. Prem Bahadur Bega.
The well-known British Gorkha cup will be named as Gorkha cup in the coming years. Prem Bahadur Bega, representative from Gorkha group insisted that the name has been changed to represent the broadness of Gorkha entrepreneurs.
“British Gorkha only represents British Gorkhas while Gorkha covers Singaporian Gorkhas, Indian Gorkha and all other Gorkha as a whole”, Mr. Bega quoted reporters in a program held at Everest Hotel.
Gurkha group sponsors Nrs 20 lakhs per year which will increased by 15% per year as informed by ANFA.
All Nepal Football Association president Ganesh Thapa announced that the Gorkha cup will start on second week of Jestha.
Similarly president Thapa also announced that ANFA will be organizing one additional A Division knock out tournament in addition to Gorkha cup and Ncell cup if time favours.
