Arsene Wenger revealed a news on a press conference that the talisman Jack Wilshere misses three weeks action with an ankle injury.

Arsenal’s thin hope to proceed further through the round of 16 has been hard hammered as Jack Wilshere is out for three weeks. The injury defines that the Englishman will miss Arsenal second leg away clash with Bayern Munich and premier league competition with Swansea.

This news also troubles England manager Hodgson as he will miss two world cup qualifiers clash against San Marino and Montenegro.

Wilshere’s career has soundly been hampered by injury as the 21 years old midfielder missed majority of his last season with an injury, although he made good comeback this season. This shows why Arsenal and England will miss the youngster within three weeks time.

The trouble does not end with Wilshere for Arsenal as their goalscorer of the first leg might miss the clash due to ankle injury. Lucas Podolski is expected to miss the second leg clash while Sagna will be ruled out due to knee and leg problems.

With current injury report and Arsenal’s position in the first leg, Arsene Wenger himself cotes Arsenal’s possibility to qualify as ‘slim’.
