Three Star club had bad start in the super league as they were defeated by Nepal Police Club while Friends club noted victory over Nepal Army in their first super league game.
Three Star Club 1-0 NIBL Friends Club(FT)
-Sahukhala 52′
Kick off: 1:30 P.m
Three Star has maintained 6 points gap in the top of table while their loss could benefit other teams who are expecting Three star to loose some point. Three star look to mark third silverware of the season after winning in Pokhara and Udaypur.
NIBL friends club are however without Nirajan Khadka who suffers two months after getting caught on a leg injury against Bangladesh in AFC Challenge qualifiers but Friend’s last win over physically strong Army team shows their desperateness to finish as top as possible in league table.
With stars like Sagar Thapa and Jagjeet Shrestha, friends club is capable to narrow the gap with Three star club which is 7 at the moment.
Santosh Shahukhala had good first half of the season as he remains top Nepalese scorer in the league and second only after Yona Elias.
