NRT 2-1 APF: Laxman Ruchal Nets APF Winner

Laxman Ruchal made an assist and a goal on NRT win as Ganesh Lawati’s equalizer could make APF blissful just for a while.

NRT make their chances stronger to feature in Super 8 as they clinch victory over disappointing APF who still fear relegation.

NRT got the lead in the first half as Akeen could utilize beautiful heading ball coming  in through Laxman Ruchal in the first half. NRT overcame every first half mistake through Akeen’s goal which got them forward till the end of first half.

Second half started with early Lawati goal. Ganesh Lawati’s cool finish leveled the scoreline in the 48th minute but the joy of breakthrough could not last long as Laxman Ruchal who assisted first half NRT goal scored this time for NRT. NRT got ahead for the second time in the game, while this time it was enough for them to cast away three points from APF.

With this victory, NRT strengthen their possibility to stay at Super 8 as they lie 5th in the table. Meanwhile APF who are with 15 points can still relegate depending on their last league game and two game performance from Madhyapur and Jawalakhel.
