Nepal Army Club Defeats Mahindra Bansbari

Deep Lama and Bharat Khawas added one goals each to gift Army club another three points in the Sahind Smarak A Division league.

Nepal Army Club Scores two goals to suppress Mahindra Bansbari in first game of A Division league played today at Dashrath Rangashala. Deep Lama and Bharat Khawash added one goal each in the either half to help their team win fourth in the season.

Nepal Army club looked desperate from the first minute to find the goal but Ajit looked attentive and managed to save some for Bansbari. Nepal Army could have leaded the game in the 29th minute when Bharat Khawash’s shot went only inches away from the post. Mahindra Bansbari looked poor on the attacks as they not even threatened Army on  few of the counter attacking moves they got. The scored remained 1-0 till the end of first half as Deep Lama gave scoring touch in Tek Budathoki’s cross in the 40th minute.

Army looked more agressive in second half. Bharat Khawash who was brilliantly stopped bu Ajeet in one on one position in around 60th minute utilized Ajeet’s mistake in 75′ to double the lead for Army. This became the decisive goal of the game and earned Army three points.

Bansbari now struggles end section of the table as they lie 15th with two points.
