Conceded a goal in first half, Nepal managed to utilize the chance in the second half as Bhola Silwal labelled the score to settle 1-1 draw against the guests.

Despite of fine display, Nepal settled draw with the guest team when the defensive wall failure costed Nepal a goal in early half of the game as Zahid Hossain utilized the chance beating the wall and the keeper.

Nepal started an attractive game from the early half of the game as Bharat Khawash displayed brilliant run in the front but did not score missing some great chances in early minutes. Similarly Silwal and Jagjeet also missed some goal scoring opportunity as Nepal struggled in the forward line but managed to perform some great midfield display. Nepal managed to capture the possession but failed to score which costed them first half trial after Bangladeshi free kick taker Zahid Hossain provided them lead 4 minutes before wrapping up the first half.

Nepal managed to create some chances in the second half. A cross from Biraj Maharjan bounced back from Bangladesh goalkeeper in Silwal’s leg who found the net beating the goalkeeper to label the score in the 6oth minute which remained still till the end of the game.

Although Nepal attacked till the end of the match and Bangladeshi players played counter attacking football, the match ended draw when the full 90 and additional 3 minutes were not sufficient to distinguish the two teams.

Coach Krishna Thapa tried some new tactics as he started an ANFA academy player Bimal Gharti. Bimal lacked confidence but still his touches were much impressive as he played 57 minutes in the pitch later replaced bu Jumanu Rai.
