Oman suffered 4-1 loss to Ireland on an international friendly match, the only reason to be a dreadful first half on which they conceded three goals scored by Shane Long (7mins), Robbie Brady (23mins) and Kevin Doyle (36mins).

However Oman came better at the second half after Mohammed made his debut goal memorable utilizing the poor defense to score only goal for Oman’s side in the game.

Later Ireland managed to grab a final one five minutes later making the score 4-1 which remained static till the last moment of the match.

Oman are still in the bottom of Group B at world cup 2014 Asian qualifiers as they are still starving for a win following 3 ties. They are upto hosting Jordan at Sultan Qaboos Sport Complex Stadium on October 16.
