All Nepal Football Association honors 10 football personalities with late Rupak memorial award in a program held at ANFA complex.

ANFA honors 4 referees, 4 coaches and two players for their successive effort in the development of Nepali Football in a program held at ANFA complex. The chief guest of the program remained former vice prime minister of Nepal K.P Sharma Oli who talked about the development of football in Nepal.

FIFA assistant referee Kiran Giri, Surendra Shikhakar, Binod KC and Kalpana Sharma were among referee to get honored. Kalpana Sharma is the first FIFA women referee in Nepal.

Meanwhile Padma Krishna Shrestha, Shiva Bhakta Joshi, Bhim Thapa and Dhana Bahadur Basnet were among coaches who were honored for their delightful effort in the development of Nepalese Football. Raju Kaji Shakya accepted the award in absence of Shiva Bhakta Joshi.

Similarly Nepal Women team captain Jamuna Gurung was selected among women’s footballer for the award. Her ability to play both as a midfielder and striker has already added 17 goals in her name.

In the same way 2061 league’s best player Surendra Tamang was presented with the award where every individual was awarded with Yamaha motorcycle and Nrs one Lakh each.
