ANFA Concludes Meeting with A Division Clubs

ANFA concluded meeting with all A Division teams at ANFA complex today and reached under following decisions.

-Every team is allowed to add four Foreign players in their squad while only three of them will be allowed to play at a single time.

-The Transfer windows starts from Baishak 1 meaning that players registration process starts from that day. Every team is required to register at least 16 players before their first game in the knock out championship that ANFA will be organizing.

-Club registration process should be done within Baishak 15.

ANFA has reduced A division club to 14 from 16 as only one team was promoted in A division football this season while three were relegated. ANFA claimed this was done to maintain balance in the A Division tournaments. Similarly ANFA’s decision to allow only 4 four foreign players gives advantage to Nepalese players after deduction in number of A division clubs.
