Shiva Shrestha’s lead was doubled by Anil Gurung’s penalty as MM confirm second spot despite playing 1 man sort after Mbile’s sent off.

Manang completely dominated the first half attack but they were cursed with Mbile’s sent off but the first half lead proved the vital one.

Manang Marsyangdi started the game with early attack as Anil Gurung made threatening run but he failed to dribble pass Ravi who looked defensively active on own half. The 4th minute attack was followed by couple of MMC attacks as Shiva Shrestha’s long shot was well denied bu Raju Yogi.

Manang continued their attacking mentality in the game as some of their shots went of target while some did not find the target after impressive defensive display from NRT defenders until Shiva Shrestha could could find header on Sabindra’s Free Kick to gift MMC their first lead in the game.

MMC’s happiness was followed by sorrow as Stephen Mbile was directly sent off as his effort to stop Segun on one on one position found him culprit. This was his second sending off in Super league as he was booked second time for comforting with his team mate Sulav Maskey.

MMC could have easily seen themselves leading by two goals had they not missed counter attacking opportunity. Shiva Shrestha and Anil Gurung lacked coordination as they could not beat single NRT defence.

NRT looked more established in second half as they failed to make any attempt in first half. Raju Yogi denied Nirajan Malla second time advancing out of his box while Sulav Maskey tried to make an attempt to utilize the situation from near the center line but his attempt went couple of yards off target.

The nightmare continued for NRT as Subash Gurung fouled Sujal Shrestha on his box and MMC were awarded penalty followed by Gurung’s yellow card. Anil Gurung converted the penalty to boost MMC’s lead.

NRT however fought back to gain equalizer as Sameer Limbu made first notable attempt but his attempt went over the cross bar.

Bishal Shrestha made return from his injury as he replaced Dare in 86th minute and played for the first time in league this season since he was out from action due to his broken hand.

MMC ended up their league as second placed as they maintained 5 points gap against Nepal Army club who are yet to play their final match of the season against Three Star Club.
