The senior heads equally deserve the credit for the transformation. Super Frank Lampard achieving the landmark 200th goal against west ham was priceless, and he can add to how he’s served to the club and the ever passionate fans with the record of Bobby Ttambling being broken, sooner. yet the plight remains in him not being offered an extension to his contract for what has been a magnificent career with the blues.
Talk of the striking force, the department never really has been much of a force this season. Neither Fernando nor Ba have risen to the occasions with the promise they brought into the club.
Of other influential figures, captain fantastic John Terry ever continues to motivate the players with the likes of comic yet significant David Luiz, Gary Cahill, Ivanovic and Mr. Cool, Ashley Cole ever present to guard the defense.
The fallacy is such that, even the presence of such individuals has not let Chelsea control the leakage of goals with the clean sheet details to do the rest of the talking. Petr Cech, the savior has often made his presence felt, but the reoccurring flaws at the back haven’t let him do much to control the data on goals conceded.
