Friend’s club Coach : Sagar Thapa’s absence is irrecoverable

Friends Club coach Dil Kaji Gurung claimed that Sagar Thapa is the backbone of the team and his gap at the team is irreplaceable.

Replying a reporter on a post match press conference, newly appointed coach Gurung insisted that the gap of Sagar Thapa is irreplaceable. When asked about his option for replacing captain Sagar Thapa who is following a one match ban after being showed a double yellow card against three star, Gurung replied that nobody could compensate captain’s absence.

“ Sagar is backbone of our Football team. Not only in the club football, but also in international matches, there is no one I have seen who could comfort sagar’s absence. So we will be missing him on our next match.  Basically we do not have enough option in defence, so it will be Mani Ram who will start in Sagar’s absence. “

Gurung who has recently been appointed as Friends club head coach on a one year deal also claims that Sagar Thapa is a player who controls himself and the team and him being sent off was part of his attempt of the win Friends club registered against three star.

Sagar Thapa will be missing match against Iceberg Madhyapur Youth Association as he will serve one match suspension following double yellow card on a match played today at Dashrath Rangashala.
