Pokhara : Three Star Defeats Sahara FC to Lift 11th Aaha-Rara Gold Cup

Three star club defeats Sahara FC with narrow boundary to lift the 11th Aaha-Rara gold cup held in Pokhara Rangashala.

Three star boss Pradip Humagain adds first title in his name as Lalitpur based club lifts 11th Aaha-Rara gold cup, third in their name. Three star becomes successful to defend the title as they win the title second time on a row.

Sahara FC who entered the finals of the tournament first time in last 12 years played under great Pokhareli supporters, however Femi’s late minute goal helped Three star to defend the title.

Femi scored in 83rd minute which remained decisive goal of the game but he was sent off later in injury time as a result of second yellow card in the match.

Goalkeeper Ajit Prajapati who was announced as the best keeper of the tournament remained denied some goals.

Femi Joshua proved himself the key player of the tournament as he scored several times for Three Star club in the tournament and also leading the top scorer chart in the contest.
