YHSC 2-1 JYC: Himalayan Sherpa Secures Three Points

Yeti Himalayan Sherpa Club defeats Jawalakhel Youth Club on Red Bull Sahid Smarak A Division league to secures three important points which neglects Relegation Fear.

Yeti Himalayan Sherpa goes two steps up in the table as they surpass Jawalakhel with 2-1 victory in their 13th match of the season.

Dhiraj Tamang’s double helped Himalayan Sherpa to get rid of relegation fear.

Himalayan Sherpa got early lead in the game as they looked aggressive from the word ‘go’. Dhiraj Tamang sealed the lead for the winning team which got them forward in the match just in 5th minute. Similarly Tamang doubled his and team’s lead in 30th minute which saw the winning team two goals ahead at the end of first half.

However Thomas managed to deficit the gap scoring a perfect one in 55th minute. His one touch shot from just outside the box beats Binaya to give Jawalakhel some chance to come back in the game. Unfortunately Ajay Thapa Magar gets double booked which provides Himalayan Sherpa one man advantage in 58th minute.

Dhiraj Tamang misses an opportunity to his hat-trick in 61st minute while John Duke misses an equalizer just before the final whistle which turns the game in Sherpa’s way.

This keeps Sherpa away from relegation zone as even a draw from remaining two matches would help Himalayan Sherpa stand in A division league while Jawalakhel needs to grab one win out of two in case Madhyapur bags all two victories out of remaining two matches.
