‘I take this game as 2-0 loss but not 5-0’: NMB Machhindra Coach Raju Kaji Shakya

Friends scored 5 goals past Machhindra including 2 in last minute of second half stoppage time.

NMB Machhindra Coach Raju Kaji Shakya was disappointed with the performance of his defenders as his team concede 5 goals against Friends in a match held at Dasarath Rangashala today. ‘The mistake made by Bikram in first goal was turning point of the match. He should have cleared it well but he failed and it cost us. The second goal was result of misunderstanding between our defender and goalkeeper and then we had no control over the match.’, he said. The coach quotes that they are still in position to challenge for top position but they must utilize the chances that comes to win the game. ‘We are failing in final passes and we must not miss the chances that comes if we are to achieve something good’, he told.

He  also admitted that his team is losing consistency as the league goes in and hopes that the player will turn up for the following match. ‘The team must perform well to make the Team Morale high which is pretty low at the moment’,he said.

Machhindra are joint top at the table with 26 points alongside RCT and Three Star but having played a match more than Three Star their pole position is not secured.
