APF beats Boudha FC 3-2 to remove the burden of relegation to some extend as they are 5 points away from relegation zone in the Sahid Smarak A Division league table.
Santosh Shrestha’s double strike in early and ending period of first half got APF two goals lead which was narrowed by Subin Shrestha in ending period of injury time of first half. Meanwhile Shivaraam’s strike in 50th minute saw APF forward as Ajit Bhandari’s effort just before the full time whistle was helpless to bring Boudha some points.
APF started the game in good note as they saw themselves forward just in third minute of the game with Santosh Shrestha’s goal. Later that goal, the game was short of skill and entertainment as not any of two team could create threat to their opponent. However, Santosh scored second of his game in 45th minute to double the lead. Boudha responded minutes back with Subin Shrestha thumping header onto the net decreasing the remoteness before the end of first half.
Although Boudha might have aimed comeback in the dressing room but their hopes were turned down as Shivaram Giri’s perfect header leaded APF forward just few minutes after second half kicked off. There was some team effort along with Suman Lama’s exertion for Boudha, two goals lead proved bulky for Boudha to come back, however Ajit Bhandari scored to decrease the lead just before final whistle but the goal was fruitless for both fans and the team.
