Saraswati Youth Club bags fifth win of the season as they defeat APF 3-0 in ongoing Martyr Memorial A Division league Football held at Dashrath Rangashala.
Kaushal Shrestha opened the scoring on Usman’s free kick ball on an unstimulating first half which was the only impressive attack in the first half by both sides.
Second half remained somewhat similar as no teams could display better coordination. Although APF looked conscious about the importance of scoring but they could not find equalizer Meanwhile Saraswati Youth club were able to take an advantage of rival’s slip-ups which managed them another goal on a counter attack. It was Yona Elias who made no mistake to double the lead in 77th minute.
No-time after the second goal, first half assist maker Usman managed to bag another one for Saraswoti which left APF beneath in the table while victory led Saraswati up to 10th position.
