Three Star put half a dozen past Bansbari

Santosh Shahukhala, Bijay Gurung and Adewumi Femi each scored brace to inspire three Star a 6-0 win.

It was looking good for Bansbari with Ajit saving Three Star’s every effort and strikers making good counter attacks until Santosh Shahukhala scored in the half an hour mark. Femi’s pass beat all defender and Santosh guided ball past Ajit to provide stars the lead. The game now was with Three Star all over and they scored via Femi in first minute of stoppage time to double the lead. The celebration just showed how happy they were to do that.

The second half was same as the first half with Three Star dominating every field. When Bijaya Gurung scored the third for Stars hardly a couple of players from Bansbari had touch he ball in second period. To add up the misery to Bamboo boys Three Star were awarded the penalty in 50th minute but the post came to the rescue and current leading goalscorer Santosh shot the spotkick into the post. But the joy was shortlived and on 66th minute,Femi scored to provide stars a four goal cushion which was followed by  goal from Santosh and Bijaya on 72nd and 85th respectively. Ajit was overworked and answered lots of Three Star attacks.

Three Star are now leading the table with 25 points whereas Bansbari are second bottom with 5 points.
