Bhola Silwal Seals Police Club Victory over unlucky Army

The first half of the interesting and thrilling game saw two quick goals as Yogesh Shrestha’s goal in 11th minute was equalized by Bharat Khawas who looked furious to get goals in entire match.

Nepal Police Club were able to find a goal in their first attack of the game when Yogesh shrestha managed to provide the lead. The second furious attack came from a corner which kissed the post and Army men managed to clear it somehow. No time after the attack Bharat Khawas added thrill in the game as he equalized for Army under the terrific atmosphere which was experienced in Dashrath Rangashala. Bharat Khawash missed his second goal in the game after his powerful striker found the bar which could have brought Army front in the game. The first half ended leveled, both teams played an attacking game although they could not be differentiated within first period of the game.

Second half started with great expectations as both teams showed high eagerness to score. Police Club got an early chance in first half as they got freekick from 25 yards but they failed to score. Army then possessed the ball good enough and builded some attacking moves. Army missed two opportunities in five minutes as Bharat Khawas’s outstanding run and powerful attack was brilliantly dived and pushed away by Ritesh followed by Tek Bahadur’s attack which he shot straight to Ritesh’s hand.

Army’s miss added advantage to Police as they got goal in the form of Bhola Silwal. Silwal who was left unmarked at Army’s box was able to take the decisive lead in 61st minute. He was even booked for his taking off the shirt while celebrations.

Army continued to fight back as they nearly earned an equalizer but poor unlucky army’s shot hit the post again. Ritesh managed to get hand on Tanka’s shot which kissed the bar denying equalizer.

Later in the game Deep Lama wastes brilliant chance to equalize as he misses a lone opportunity as Ritesh grabbed the ball out of his legs before he could try for the shot.

Police Won the match 2-1 as Bhola Silwal’s 61 minute goal proved boon to the winning Police Club.
